Our signature clutch, hand made from vintage 'obi': the sash worn with kimono at formal occasions.
This vintage Fukuro Obi was sourced from the Osaka area of Japan. It is approximately 40 years old, and in excellent condition.
There is a line that appears in the weave on the back of the clutch, which can be seen in the last photograph. It actually looks worse in the photograph! This is a slight flaw in the weave and will not get worse. The price reflects this.
